Don't book breakfast with this hotel. They lie about it, when you arrive they say they don't really have breakfast in the hotel, what they have is an arrangement with a nearby cafe that gives you a good discount. And Esquilino area is not very pleasant. Reception closes at around 8pm and you are on your own till the next morning. One night we found the hotel door unlocked... how is that for safety?? Both receptionists are rude, especialy the blonde one named Nicole. Our shower cabin leaked water and caused a small flood in the wc's floor every time we used it. We will never be back again.

Very very poor stay, we stayed for a few nights, the customer service overall was really bad, the front desk person was not approachable or helpful in the slightest. my girlfriend had a really bad fall in the room due to the cleaners not wiping the marble floors properly, this almost resulted in her been taken to the hospital on the second day. Dont take anything offered or ask for anything as this hotel will charge you for everything that they can. I can say that we definitely will not be staying here again and would also recommend that anyone else considering staying in rome does not stay here either.

We've asked for a room with 3 singles beds. They didn't accomplish that and doesn't even have a room with that kind of acomodation. Instead of that they arrange a sofa as a "bed". Why offer and sell something that don't have? The point here is you're paying for something and they offer you something different.

As with most hotels across Europe that are close to a City's main railway station, not the best of area's. We picked the hotel knowing it was a small budget hotel and that's what we got. Value for money and about a 500m walk to the train station. Can't fault the hotel or the staff, you pay for what you get and we were more than happy with that.

Rome was great in June. Hotel Caracciolo was central and the staff friendly especially Mouad at reception. Clean rooms with a/c, comfortable beds. Supermarket nearby for little things/snacks. Would stay there again.
